Our Commitments to Britain

The opportunity Sizewell C provides for Britain reaches far beyond clean energy. Sizewell C has the potential to create thousands of jobs and provide economic benefits across the UK. Our 200+ members are ready, committed and united together to make it happen.

To ensure the full benefit of the project, the Sizewell C Consortium has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with Wales, the East of England, and the North of England. In these MoU’s we have set out our commitment to delivering the project, as well as how each nation and region is set to benefit from the investment, jobs and skills provided Sizewell C will bring.

The Sizewell C Consortium commissioned Ernst & Young (EY) to research the potential social and economic benefits that Sizewell C could have across the whole of the UK.

In March of 2021, the results of this research were published in the form of the EY Report.
